This policy explains what South Florida Luxury Appliance Repair does with the details you send us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Who we are
South Florida Luxury Appliance Repair repairs Sub‑Zero refrigeration across Miami‑Dade County from our office at 1600 Ponce de Leon Blvd, 10th Floor, Suite 64, Coral Gables. We take your call, book the appointment, set the price, and the technician who comes to your home is our own. Your repair agreement is with us. You can reach us at info@southfloridaluxuryappliancerepair.com or on (800) 647-5970.
What we collect
What you send us. The callback form on this site asks for your name and phone number, which are required, and your service address and a description of the fault, which are optional. That is the whole form. We do not ask for payment details, and we never will through this website.
What our host records. This site is served by Amazon Web Services. Like any web host, its servers keep standard technical logs of requests — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you and we do not connect them to your enquiry.
What is stored in your browser. Your choice of the light or dark version of this page, which is kept in local storage, never leaves your device, and disappears when you clear your browser data. Separately, the advertising tags described under “Cookies and tracking” below set cookies of their own.
Why we collect it
To call you back, to send a technician to the right address, and to keep a record of the job. That is the only reason your details are asked for.
Who we share it with
We give your name, address and phone number to the technician we assign to your job — they cannot turn up otherwise. They use it to carry out your repair and for nothing else, and they are not permitted to market to you off the back of it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone else for marketing. Beyond our own technicians, your details are handled by the companies that host this site and carry our email, and Google receives the advertising measurement data described below, including a record of any call you place to the tracking number it shows you. If a repair ever became a legal or insurance matter we would share what we had to, and if the law required us to hand something over we would comply.
Marketing messages
The enquiry form has an optional tick box for marketing texts and emails. It is unticked by default, and leaving it unticked does not affect your repair in any way — we will still call you back, and you will still be booked in exactly the same way.
If you do tick it, we keep a record of the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the page you were on, because the law that governs marketing texts requires us to be able to show what you consented to. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP to a text or using the unsubscribe link in an email, and that does not affect your repair either.
Separately from marketing, and whether or not you tick the box, we and the technician assigned to your repair may contact you about the repair itself — confirming the appointment, arranging access, following up on the work. That is not marketing and you cannot opt out of it while a job is open, because it is how the repair gets done.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and job details for as long as it takes to arrange and complete your repair, and for up to 24 months afterwards so we can answer questions about work that was done. After that they are deleted. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep a record of a completed job.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google’s advertising measurement tags. They tell us which advertisements bring us work — for example, that someone who clicked a particular ad went on to call us. That is the whole purpose. We do not run session recording, and we do not build a profile of you or sell one.
Those tags set cookies in your browser and send Google your IP address and details of the page you are on. Google uses that information under its own terms, which you can read at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
The telephone number on this page may be a tracking number. If you arrive from a Google advertisement, Google replaces the number shown with one of its own that forwards to us. The call connects to the same people and is not recorded, but Google is told that a call was placed, how long it lasted, and which advertisement you had clicked. That is how an advertisement gets credited with a telephone enquiry. If you would rather not be measured that way, reach us at the number on our Google Business Profile, or by email, or through the form on this site.
You can refuse them. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings, or any of the common content blockers, will stop these tags loading, and nothing on this site stops working if you do. You can also turn off ad personalisation across Google at myadcenter.google.com.
Apart from those tags, this site makes no third-party requests — the typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts. If we add anything else, this page will be updated before the change goes live and the date at the top will change with it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@southfloridaluxuryappliancerepair.com and we will deal with it. There is no form to fill in and we will not ask you to prove who you are beyond enough to be sure we are giving your details to you and not to somebody else.
If you would rather not send anything through this website at all, call us on (800) 647-5970. A phone call needs nothing more than what you choose to tell us.
Children
This site is for people arranging appliance repairs and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and anything you send through the form is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that plainly than promise otherwise.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not make changes quietly.
